The holiday season is a time for giving, and this year, our community truly outdid itself! What started as a simple goal—to collect 25 bikes for the Forgotten Children’s Fund—turned into an extraordinary effort that delivered 41 bikes to deserving children. The response from our community, local businesses, and friends was nothing short of inspiring, and we’re thrilled to share how this incredible journey unfolded.
“Our truck filled to the brim with 41 bikes, ready to bring smiles this holiday season!”
A Community Effort Worth Celebrating
From the moment we launched our bike drive, the generosity from individuals and businesses alike came pouring in. Whether it was neighbors dropping off bikes, local businesses stepping up, or members of the Bothell and Woodinville Chambers of Commerce spreading the word, everyone played a part in making this a huge success. Every donation, no matter how big or small, came with stories of hope, kindness, and the desire to make a child’s holiday extra special.
“Every bike tells a story of generosity and love!”
Delivering to the ‘North Pole’
The excitement reached its peak as we loaded up our truck and headed to the Forgotten Children’s Fund’s warehouse—affectionately known as the “North Pole.” There, we met Greg Bakke, the President of the organization, who welcomed us with open arms. Inside, volunteers were hard at work, assembling bikes and wrapping gifts to ensure every child has a magical Christmas morning.
Seeing the operation in full swing was awe-inspiring. The Forgotten Children’s Fund doesn’t just deliver toys; they deliver hope and joy to families who need it most. This year, thanks to the contributions from our community, even more children will experience the thrill of a bike on Christmas morning—a gift that represents freedom, adventure, and possibility.

The Power of Coming Together
This bike drive wasn’t just about reaching a goal; it was about what we could achieve together as a community. With every bike donated, we were reminded of how much good can come from collective effort.
To everyone who donated, spread the word, or cheered us on—thank you! You helped create lasting memories for these children and made this holiday season one to remember.
“Teamwork makes the dream work! A huge thank you to everyone who made this possible.”
