Bring Joy to Local Children This Holiday Season — Starting Now

At Tend Home Team, giving back to our community is at the heart of what we do, and there’s no better time to start spreading holiday magic than right now. We’re thrilled to announce that we’re once again partnering with The Forgotten Children’s Fund, a volunteer-driven nonprofit that brings hope, joy, and holiday gifts to local children and families in need.

About The Forgotten Children’s Fund

The Forgotten Children’s Fund works tirelessly each year to ensure that children in challenging circumstances experience the joy and wonder of the holiday season. With the help of countless volunteers, they transform into a North Pole-like hub where Santa and his elves prepare and deliver gifts to children who might otherwise go without. Last year alone, this incredible organization delivered over 20,000 gifts to 750mfamilies and more than 2,100 kids in Western Washington.

If you’d like to hear more about the impact they make, tune in to our TLC | Tend Life Community Podcast episode “Wine & Wishes,” where we sat down with the board President, Greg Bakke, for an inspiring conversation about the difference The Forgotten Children’s Fund makes every year. How You Can Help This Year

This year, we’re setting our sights even higher, and we’d love for you to be part of it.

  • Donate a New Bike: We’re collecting new bikes in neutral colors for kids ages 6 to 12.
  • Drop Off or Ship: Bikes can be dropped off or shipped directly to our office at:
14522 NE North Woodinville Way, STE 202B
    Woodinville, WA 98072
  • Want it to be super easy? We’ve compiled a list of bike options that ship directly, just click, order, and you’re done! Or use our wish list for ease:

  • Make a Donation: Prefer to let us do the shopping? Make a monetary donation and we’ll purchase a bike on your behalf. You’ll still be entered into our prize drawings and be part of the holiday magic.
  • Spread the Word: Share our campaign with friends, family, coworkers, and local businesses. Businesses can help by displaying a flyer in their storefronts, sharing the campaign online, or even becoming a drop-off location. Let us know if you'd like to get involved in that way!
  • The more people who know, the more kids we can reach.

Our Goal: 50 bikes (or more!) by December 1st. With your help, we know we can get there.

Why It Matters

For many children, receiving a bike is more than just a gift, it’s freedom, adventure, and a joyful childhood memory they’ll never forget. Volunteers share stories of kids who have never owned a bike before, whose faces light up when they realize it’s truly theirs. Parents share how much these unexpected gifts lift a burden and bring holiday magic during difficult times.

Together, we can make sure no child is forgotten this holiday season. Let’s come together as neighbors, friends, and local businesses to help make this year’s bike drive our biggest yet.

Thank you for helping us bring hope and joy to local children — one bike at a time.

Regards

Troy
