Team Troy on the White Moustache Tour of Seattle

Team Troy had a grand send off for our fantastic office manager, Andrea Scalici, on Seattle’s White Moustache Tour  last Thursday. The tour guide and owner, Bryce kept us guessing as we traveled to the city’s lesser-known neighborhoods to experience hidden culinary gems.

Our first stop was at Island Soul, a Caribbean restaurant in downtown Columbia City. We sampled jerk chicken, tostones, and beef patties paired with a dark rum ginger mojito.

The second stop on the tour was Loretta’s Northwesterners in Seattle’s South Park neighborhood. We had the tavern burger with cheese and a basket of some of the best French fries.  This was paired with a pint of Olympia draught

Next we traveled to Proletariat Pizza in White Center. We tried the Ham and Egg pizza with Zoe’s coppa and arugula paired with a pitcher of Big Al’s Amber and Zippy’s Root Beer.

The last stop was Full Tilt Ice Cream where we enjoyed a scoop of ube ice cream, which tasted like sweet potato butterscotch.

This was a very unique food tour, and it was great to be able to travel together to the different locations. Each stop had a story and we learned a little bit more about the city we all live and work in every day. We enjoyed exploring Seattle’s neighborhoods as much as we enjoyed the delicious tastings.

Team Troy is always happy to recommend fun Seattle activities and restaurants.  Just give us a call at 206-588-8409 or visit us at www.nwhomesearch.com. As always, we are here to help you however and whenever we can.
