Team Troy Celebrates RED Day 2013

RED Day (Renew, Energize and Donate) is an initiative dedicated to celebrating Keller Williams Realty’s year-round commitment to improving our local communities.  Each year, on the second Thursday in May, tens of thousands of associates from across the United States and Canada participate in a wide range of projects, including rebuilding homes, refurbishing local parks, hosting blood drives, and so much more.

On Thursday, May 9th, Team Troy recently celebrated this annual event by supporting the homeless young people in the Seattle community. Team Troy and many other dedicated Keller Williams associates painted, cleaned, repaired, and redesigned a local center. A professional stager was brought in, giving these young individuals new interior furnishings from Ikea including desks, pillows, curtains, and a new rug. New landscaping was also on the agenda. Team Troy specifically worked to rearrange and clean the shelter’s library, giving these aspiring young people a place to amplify their life skills.
